C.G.I.T. ANNUAL REPORT
The C.G.I.T., with 15 members inthe winter and 9 in the fall,
continues to be an active group. Each meeting usually consists of
games, worship, business and a project, some of which were as follows:
Study
-Bible Studies on "Where is God when people hurt?" and "Living with
Hope."
~speakers on AIDS, India and “How Fashion reflects politics."
-Mission Study - "Torch in the Night",South Africa
Fund-raising
-craft table at the bazaar
-Soup 'n Sandwich Luncheon
Service .
-knitted squares for afghan for Tools for Peace for Nicaragua
—presented several skits at the P.W.A. Mother and Daughter Banquet
—presented the Vesper Service for the congregation and for Parkside
Christian Villa
~-made donations to the World Wildlife Federation, and the national
Offering Project
Fun
-Snow Day at Crieff
-Dancercize, led by the older girls
-cottage weekend at Lake Belwood
~-attended Canada's Wonderland in May with Ontario C.G.I.T.
-sleepover to prepare for Bazaar
-Christmas party at the manse
Once again we thank the P.W.A. and the members of the congregation for
their support. Both girls and leaders look forward to a year of
fun,study and working together to become the people God would have us
be.
