C.G.1.7, ANNUAL REPORT
The C.G.1.T. has had another busy year, as they participated in many
activities to help them “become the girls that God would have them be.”
~ Mrs. Donna Wilson, with Mrs. Sally Sanders(January to Sepember) and Mrs.
Gladys Robson(September to December) were the leaders of this very active
group. Some of our activities were:

-had fun at "Snow Day” at Crieff with the Explorers, Senior Explorers
and C.0.C. groups;

-completed a study on ”Native Peoples,” learning about their
traditions, culture, spiritual values, and problems. Typical Indian
crafts such as beading, sandpainting, Fingerweaving and leatherwork were
done. This project culminated in a visit to the Six Nations Reservation
at Brantford in June, sponsored by the P.W.A. The group contributed $115
towards the National Youth Project(putting a Foundation under the church
at Mistawasis.)

-spent three evenings on a Bible Study;

-sponsored the Soup and Sandwich Luncheon for the congregation on
March 23rd;

-sponsored our annual congregational "Fun Night” in April, the
proceeds of which went to the C.G.1.T. Vellore Project and the Roof fund;

-helped serve at the Birthday Party at the Elliott Home;

-attended the P.W.A. Mother and Daughter Banquet, and several of the
girls discovered their Mystery Mothers;

-enjoyed a pool party/sleepover in the Sanders’ garden;

-began the new season with a weekend at Crieff, which included Bible
Study, hikes, campfire, good food, singing, worship, crafts and very
little sleep;

-hosted a "Celebrate C.G.1,.I.” evening to celebrate C.G.1.T. week in
October;

-took part in the service on C.G.1.T. Sunday, presenting the
children’s story, singing and doing the readings;

-spent several evenings doing Christmas crafts for the table at the
Bazaar;

-had a sleepover at the church to work on gifts for the Vesper
Service;

-presented the Vesper Service, entitled "Let Us Go To Bethlehem.”;

-several girls presented part of the Vesper Service at Parkside
Christian Apartments near Christmas;

-ended the year with a Christmas dinner meeting and party at the

: Manse.
We have had a busy year, with a membership of about 14-15 girls. We
appreciate the help and support that the P.W.A. and the congregation so
graciously give the girls, and we pray that the group might continue to
serve "under the leadership of Jesus.”
Respectfully submitted,
Donna Wilson and Gladys Robson
