CRESCENT CIRCLE ANNUAL REPORT
The Circle meets monthly in members’ homes. There are 19 members on
the roll and an average attendance of 12.
A worship service is held at each meeting. Our study this year was
"Native Peoples of Canada.” In June, with the C.G.1.T., we enjoyed a trip
to the Woodland Indian Cultural Centre Museum at Six Nation Indian
Reserve near Brantford. A presentation was made at another meeting on
"Ten Days for World Development.” In September a _ retired Missionary
showed slides and spoke about her years of service in Malaysia.
We contributed to the Fellowship of the Least Coin, the Canadian
Bible Society, Crieff Hills Building Fund and our Church’s Memorial Fund.
Funds were raised at a "Muffin Mania” party and a Bring and Buy Sale.
In April some members helped at the Elliott Birthday Party and in
July at the summer Inter-Church Council Nursing Home Tea. Several
blankets were donated to Sister Christine’s Transient House. We assisted
at the Annual Turkey Dinner and also at the Bazaar. Each Christmas
several gifts are povided to Nursing Home residents in Wellington County
and shut-ins in our congregation are also remembered.
Our offering is sent through the P.W.A. Treasurer to the W.N.S.
New members would be very welcome to Join us at any time.
