oe CHURCH SCHOOL REPORT

The Church School is divided into two departments. -The senior
department meets at 9:30 a.m. in the church hall and consists of chil-
dren 9 years and over. Mrs. Sally Sanders teaches the children in
grades 4, 5 and 6. Mrs. Donna Wilson teaches grade 7 and over.

The children enjoyed’ a pool party in June at the home of Mrs.
Sally Sanders. They sold church calendars and holly to help the

. Church School expenses. In December the children, with the help of
i “the teachers, put on a successful Christmas Pageant and afterwards
enjoyed a party with a visit from Santa Claus. i

The junior department meets at 11:00 a.m. in the church hall and
consists of children 2 years to 8 years. Miss Brenda Guthrie, with
helpers Miss Ann Montgomery and Miss Linda Allen, teaches the chil-
dren 2 and 3 years. Miss laura Kelly teaches the 4 and 5 year olds.
Mrs. Deirdre Renaud and Mrs. Ruth Grift take turns teaching the chil-
dren 6, 7 and 8 years. The junior department is sorry to announce
the loss of Miss Donna Gerrie to our teaching staff.

The children enjoyed a picnic in June, the Christms Pageant
and party.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who
helped the Church School in any way; it certainly was appreciated very
much. The junior department could do with more staff. I would like
two teachers and some spares so that the regular teachers could have

: a Sunday off once a month. Thank you. -
