CRESCENT CIRCLE REPORT 1978
The Crescent Circle has 20 members. We had 9 meetings in 1978,
the January meeting being cancelled because of inclement weather.
Our fund-raising efforts this year included:
1. a Bring and Buy sale at our May meeting.
2. a Coffee Party at the home of Mrs. McGillivray on Sept.
19th.
In April, the Crescent Circle subscribed to the Bible-a-Month
Club. We donated $36.00 to Inter-Church Aid and $10.00 to the Women's
Inter-Church Council 60th Anniversary Project to aid world literacy.
The ladies of the Crescent Circle enjoyed supper at Crieff Hills
for their June meeting. Rev. Spencer gave a brief history of Crieff
and a tour of the property, The Christmas Pot Luck Supper was held
at the home of Joyce Runge on December 13th.
