STATEMENT OF THE SESSION TO THE CONGREGATION
FOR THE YEAR 1967

The yeer 1967 hes been en eventful one in the life of this congre-
getion.

We begen the yeer with © now first femily. Since he hes come, Mr.
Nicholson has done © tremendous job, visiting members and edherents
without respite, month efter month. His refusel to spere himself hes
resulted in severe illness, but we ere thenkful to know thet he is on
the roed to recovery.

The Session wishes to record its eppreciation to all who geve of
their time in the service of the Lord of the Church, Teechers of the
church school, Youth leaders, Menegers, Orgenist, Choir members, Ushers,
end those responsible for steffing the nursery, two-yeer olds end be-
ginners' depertments are thenked for their service end co-operetion.

4 speciel thenk-you is extended to the flower convenor, Mrs. Evelyn
Bellentyne, whose floral earrengements have edded so much to the beeuty
of the Senctuery.

We further wish to record our thanks end gratitude to the Presby-
tery of Guelph and Ssugeen for the tremendous support we have hed in
pulpit supply during the illness of Mr. Nicholson.

We elso wish to thenk the Guelph ministers, Dr. Crawford Smith,
Rev. Forbes Thomson end Rev. S. 0. McEntyre, for the extre work loed
they heve shouldered during this period.

The Christmas Eve Femily Service wes well attended and indicetes
thet the congregation and public appreciete the extre work which the or-
genist and choir assume.

The congregetion elected the following members to the eldership:
Mr. R. Smith, Mr. E, McMillen, Mr. R. Renton end Mr. R, Currie.

Reconmendetion: The Presbytery of Guelph end Seugeen hes esked
e11 congregetions to consider © 10% increese over thet reised lest yeer,
as en allocetion for 1968 to the budget of the General Assembly. Your
Session recommends thet we eccept this ellocetion.
